Hi, I’m Ivonne. I’m a personal trainer and fitness coach (and soon to be nutrition coach) living on the idyllic Central Coast of NSW. I specialise in training beginners and people returning to fitness after a long break. I also teach beginner calisthenics after starting my own cali journey in 2020 during the COVID pandemic. Helping you move well, build up strength and skill, and integrate good movement into your life is immensely satisfying and I’m grateful to have the chance to do what I do.
I’ve been involved in various activities over the years, including football (soccer), and dragon boating, where our women’s crew won bronze at the National Championships (yay us!). I started my calisthenics journey coming out of the first lockdown during the COVID pandemic in August 2020 and I have been learning and improving ever since. I love it. When the opportunity arose to become a cali coach, I jumped at the chance. Now I get to teach others and encourage them to step outside their comfort zone and level up. In 2022 I started learning judo and the combination of calisthenics and judo has been so much fun. The two are so different yet there are some handy transferable skills, like strength and grip strength (to hang onto that judogi).
I have a Diploma of Fitness and offer face-to-face training for individuals through private and semi-private sessions, as well as running classes at Woy Woy Fitness Studio. I look forward to meeting you and joining you on your wellness journey.
